POLICY BRIEF
The purpose of this Counter-Terrorism Policy is to establish measures that ensure Boomitra operates in a manner that actively mitigates risks related to terrorism, complies with global and local anti-terrorism laws, and protects employees, partners, stakeholders, and company assets across all regions of operation.

We are committed to adhering to international counter-terrorism standards and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those set by the United Nations, U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), EU Counter-Terrorism Framework, India – Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), and other relevant authorities.

- Terrorism: Any unlawful act, including violence, threats, or intimidation, aimed at influencing governments or intimidating the public to achieve political, religious, or ideological objectives.
- Terrorist Organization: Any group or entity designated as such by international, national, or local authorities, including the United Nations, U.S. State Department, India, or EU.
- Proscribed Activities: Activities that directly or indirectly support terrorism, such as financing, recruitment, propaganda, or provision of resources.
PRINCIPLES AND OBJECTIVES
- Compliance with Laws: Ensure adherence to counter-terrorism laws and sanctions in all regions of operation.
- Zero Tolerance: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any activity that supports terrorism.
- Due Diligence: Implement measures to verify that employees, contractors, vendors, and partners are not associated with terrorist activities or organizations.
